JEE Main Result 2020

Joint Entrance Examinations are called as JEE have two exams namely JEE(Main) and JEE(Advanced). They form the criteria for IITs, IIITs, NITs, and CFTIs enrolling students for their under-graduate courses. This year JEE Main will conduct the offline exam on 8th April 2020 and the online exam on 15th and 16th of April 2020. Candidates can choose to give the exams in only one mode. This year, there are two changes brought into the JEE (Main). The class 12th results will not be given any weightage in calculating the rank list.

However, for candidates to qualify for IITs, IIITs, NITs, and CFTIs, they should have scored a minimum of 75% in their 12th exams or be in the top 20 percentiles. For SC/ST students, the qualifying marks in 12th standard is 65%. The part 1 paper of Main (BE/BTech) is also compulsory for students giving the JEE Advanced to gain admission in IITs.

The significance of JEE Results 2020 need not be specially explained to any average Indian with some understanding about the academic scenario in Indian sub continent. Right now, the date of announcement of results is unknown. It will be made known soon and be published on The pen and paper mode of writing the exam will be conducted on 8th April 2020 while the online exams will be conducted on 15th and 16th of April,2020. 

How to check JEE Main 2020 result ?

Students have to simply log in to after the results are published. After logging in, they have to enter their roll number to view their scores and ranks.

JEE Main results of 2020 will be published on the official portal: The rank card will also be published as well as sent to the communication address of the students. Those students who are eligible to attend counseling sessions will be intimated and invited for the same. As mentioned earlier, students should have scored a minimum of 75% (65% for SC and ST students) in their 12th standard to be eligible to attend the counseling session.

JEE Main Cut-off 2020

The minimum cut-off score for a student to be eligible for the counseling session will be known after the students give the exams and are ranked. It is based on this score that the invitation to participate in the counseling sessions will be extended to the students.
